Let’s Solve Breakfast.
While fans swoon over the BOBs, HBCBs and Taquitos, breakfast remains Whataburger’s lowest-performing daypart across all markets. Gen-Z (and Millennials) are the sweet spot for breakfast, as they are more likely than older adults to eat breakfast away from home. So let’s get Gen-Z aware of, craving and eating more Whataburger breakfast.
Morning breakfast does not live “rent-free” in Gen-Z’s mind. This offers an opportunity for breakfast foods to adopt a new unstructured routine.
We Broke Breakfast.
Norms are a thing of the past, at least for Gen Z.
Since we are open from 11pm-11am, we are also breaking traditional breakfast serving times.
So why put breakfast in that same box?
Let’s break breakfast.

Well, we can’t actually break breakfast. So why not break the Internet with breakfast? Let’s tackle socials by mixing Internet errors and morning eats.
Nights Should End With Breakfast
Everything important happens at night. Anniversary dinners. Birthday parties. The new year.
But the most important nights are those that don’t end until you feel the orange glow of the Whataburger sign.
Those nights don’t end until you end up in a booth with breakfast.
Follow The Neon Signs
Let’s tackle the day to night scene with neon orange infused billboards that only glow from 11pm-11am to call all breakfast-eaters to Whataburger.
And maybe snap a picture or two.
